ground with their bare hand, quickly brings the ball back, then

To demonstrate how concise and

is for the user, the actual text for "Slow Rollers," one of

"SLOW
ROLLERS
FIRST BASE SIDE. Right Handers. Feet -
pointing to the foul line... Hips - the foot position forces
the hips to be in line with first base... Throw - to the
"fair territory" side of first base... Near the Foul Line -
take a step to the "fair territory" side of the foul line, then
throw the ball. Left Handers. Left Foot - steps over
the ball to a point where the pitcher feels the ball will be when
fielding the grounder... Back - to first base...Throw
- step away from the foul line to throw to the first baseman.
GROUNDER TO THE LEFT SIDE. Practicing this play is
essential to make this an automatic out during the game.
Movement - sprint to a point 10 feet in front of first base, then
slow down... Glove - gives a chest high target...
Receiving the Ball - the infielder delivers the ball 2 to 3
steps in front of the bag... Right Foot - touches in the
inside of the bag... After Touching the Bag - continue
movement toward second base... with runner on base, find the lead
runner and prepare to make a throw..." |
