Goal: Understand how and when to move from second base to third base .
Drill: With the complete infield and a runner at second, the coach hits ground balls between third and short stop. The runner decides, depending upon the location of the ground ball, whether to advance to third. The coach varies the drill by hitting slower ground balls and line drives mixed in with the regular routine."
