" Soft Hands Drill
Goal: Teach catchers proper catching techniques.
Drill: Catchers get into their stance without a glove. The coach, with a bucket of tennis balls nearby, throws the balls around the strike zone. The catcher catches the balls using the proper hand position, drops the balls to the side and prepares for another ball to be thrown."
