Proprioception
Proprioception is the body's natural interplay between balance and imbalance. A simple example of proprioception is slipping on ice.  As soon as a person slips, they use their arms to make sure they stay upright.  The same adjustments occur during every athletic motion.

Professional Trainers use "balance disks" to direct an athlete's proprioceptive reactions.  Players learn to stay balanced and maximize their results by practicing their skills with a Sports' "Balance Disk".

Rarely do you see a professional athlete off balance.  A Sports' "Balance Disk" facilitates balance and coordination.  With the disk, players learn the "principles of natural movement".

Players who use their "principles of natural movement" look more fluid and show better results, they look less awkward.

Functional Conditioning
All people instinctively teach themselves to stay balanced.  Proprioception, this sixth sense, continually and instinctively monitors our five senses to keep our motions in balance.  When we are in danger of moving out of balance, our minds make an immediate subconscious adjustment to keep our bodies from falling.

As infants, we all develop this instinctive sixth sense or else we would continually fall as we walk.  When player begin learning sports, Coaches start positioning the athletes body to produce a desired result with a total disregard for balance.  Many times these forced movements cause internal injury to the player (40.1% of Little League Pitchers complain of shoulder/elbow soreness) or cause such poor results that the player stops playing entirely.

Working with Sports' "Balance Disks" takes athletes back to their roots.  Athletes begin feeling their motions, just as they did as an infant, know when they are out of balance during a motion and how to make adjustments to stay in balance next time.

"Balance Disks" teach remarkable athletic balance while producing exceptional playing performances.
