"Carousel Drill
Goal: Teach passing, shooting skills while working on conditioning.
Starting Player Positions: P1 - group of players in one corner... P2 - another group of players in the opposite corner.
Equipment: Locate pucks by the players in the opposite corner of the rink.
Drill: The P1 skates down the ice looping around the center circle, then heads back to the goal on the end of the rink that they started. When they cross the center line for the second time, they receive a pass from P2. The P1 stickhandles to the goal, then takes a shot on goal. After passing the puck to P1, P2 skates down the ice looping around the center circle, heads back to the goal on their side and receives a pass from the new P1. The drill continues on in this manner."

Pucks in the Middle Drill
Goal: Teach stickhandling and shooting.
Starting Player Positions: Team broken into four groups, each group in one corner of the rink.
Equipment: All pucks in the center circle.
Drill: On command, the player skates to the center circle, stickhandles to the goal and shoots the puck on goal.
Variation: On command, two players leave at the same time. Only one player picks up a puck, then passes to the other player who shoots the puck into the goal... Add Defensemen, see "Pucks in the Middle" Drill in "Effective Passing Drills"."
