"Strip Drill
Goal: Develop a secure handoff technique with awareness toward
ball security... Description: The quarterback hands off the
ball to the back that runs between two line of players facing each
other and one yard apart. After the hand off, the runner explodes
through the lines and sprints ten yards past the last defender. The
players in the two lines attempt to strip the ball from the runner
while the back keeps their legs pumping, maintains a low center of
gravity and runs from behind their pads... Equipment: Player
to form 2 lines, a quarterback or coach for hand offs, football."

" Square Drill
Goal: Teach a 90° sweep cut...
Description: Set 4 cones or markers in a square of 3 to 5 yards
size. Runner move around the square making 90° cuts at each corner.
The runner starts off by walking through the drill, graduates to ½
speed through the drill, and then moves as fast as possible around
the square while maintaining body control. The player stays low
throughout the drill while planting and pushing off with their
outside foot... Equipment: 4 cones, football."
