"THE FEET
Stance - The front foot is closed with the feet a comfortable distance
apart. The back foot is parallel to the back of the plate... Weight Shift
- The front foot rolls on the in-step as the knee begins to move backward...
Stride - The front foot takes a short, soft, comfortable stride forward.
The front foot lands on the inside ball of the foot as if "testing thin ice"...
Swing - The front heel plants firmly on the ground as soon as the
decision to swing is made. The back heel comes off the ground pivoting on the
back toe as if "squishing a bug".. Follow-Through - Both feet remain
on the ground with the body's weight almost entirely on the front foot."
