"MIRROR DRILL
Goal: Develop a good stride while keeping the weight back preparing to
swing the bat.
Drill: The hitter gets into a normal stance in front of a mirror bringing
the bat back while striding forward. The hitter checks themselves for the stride
foot landing on the inside ball, a good hip turn and keeping the weight back.

"STRIKE ZONE DRILL
Goal: Teach the hitter strike zone recognition.
Drill: A coach pitches the ball from 30-40 feet. The hitter sets up at
the plate with a bat, strides at the proper time, follows the ball with their
head into the catcher's glove and calls "ball" or "strike" as the ball strikes
the catcher's glove."
